I have never had any as good as this one, not even close. I think the foil lined packet also helps the tea retain its flavor. I had only been able to locate this at an Asian market many miles away. Most do not have that great, unique flavor of this brand's toasted brown rice. Either way, happy day. Imagine my delight when I found it at Amazon. I have bought and tried many other brands of green tea with toasted rice as it becomes more popular.
highly reccomended. This is not the tea i get at my local sushi place but it is a fabulous tea, i carry a tea bag in my purse at all times. It has a warm nutty flavor that stems hungar and relaxes the mind.
You should shake the bag out before you put it in your water. I did notice the tea bags did have a bit of tea dust on them. Yamamotoyama genmai cha green tea is by far my favorite tea. Buying is bulk is a good deal.
i find i don't need to add anything to it; this is the perfect complement to a hearty meal, or to help with digestion right afterward. if you like it sweet, add a touch of sugar. if you like green tea, you will love genmai cha. the roasted rice gives the green tea a lovely mellow flavor.
It has a great taste not bitter and the rice flavor has a delicate nutty flavor. I'm not saying this has any medicinal properties at all, but I find this tea really helps me when I have a craving. I have been a green tea drinker for several years. I'm telling you i drink this stuff all the time.I quit smoking in October and this is my replacement. It's really great tasting and soothing. I have tried very manydifferent brands and flavors of tea and then I came across this tea & I love it. I started drinking it this past Christmas and I am on my thirdorder already.
